Church Leadership

Pastor Brian J. Hancock began his ministry in Casey in November of 2022.  Pastor Brian graduated from Olivet Nazarene University, where he met his wife, Darla.  Pastor Brian was ordained on the Florida District in 2001 and served in full-time associate pastoral ministry in youth and music at Tampa First (FL), Mount Vernon First (OH), and St. Charles LifeStream (MD).  Brian ventured into the corporate world in 2009, working for SunTrust Bank, Bank of America, and U.S. Trust as a mortgage underwriter, while volunteering in worship ministry in Richmond VA.  In 2017, he returned to full-time music ministry at Southside Church of the Nazarene until God called him to lead pastor.  Pastor Brian and Darla have 4 children: Emma, Alyssa, Cara, and Alex.  They all enjoy music, sports, traveling, and theme parks.

Pastor Jared began his ministry in Casey in June of 2015. Pastor Jared served as Youth Pastor for 9 years before moving into the Associate Pastor Role.. Jared is passionate about connecting with families to help them discover the call that God has placed on their life.  He is currently a District Licensed Minister and is currently attending Nazarene Bible College and finishing up his classes to become an Ordained Minister in the Church of the Nazarene. Jared serves alongside of his wife, Kayla. They have 3 children; Lucy Marie, Jolie Kay, Millie Jay. As a family we enjoy traveling, fishing, being around family, and cheering on the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs!

Pastor Robby began his ministry in Casey in June of 2011. Pastor Robby has called Casey First his home church since his Freshman year in High School, in 2004. He has served as a Youth Leader since 2011 and became Pastor of Families in 2018. He is currently attending Nazarene Bible College and finishing up his classes to become an Ordained Minister in the Church of the Nazarene. He is married to Erica and they have three children. Grayson, Eliza, and Levi. Some of their favorite things to do together are watching disney movies, playing board games, reading books and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.

Amy Higginbotham stepped into the role of Children’s Director in 2018 after volunteering in children’s ministry for eight years.  She is passionate about helping kids know Jesus and build a relationship with Him.  KZ Naz has been her home church since she married her husband, Matthew, in 2010. Amy received her Local Ministers License in 2023 and plans to attend Nazarene Bible College.  Amy stays busy homeschooling her three children, Isabella, Blake, and Silas.  Some of their favorite things to do are watching movies, going on adventures, side-by-side rides, and spending time with family and friends.

Kayla Robinson is the Office Administrator at KZ Naz. The church has been her home since she was in high school attending the Youth Group. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2011 with an Art Degree- concentrations in Graphic Design and Photography.  She’s married to Jordan and they have two young daughters who keep them busy, Immy & Rose. She enjoys being close to extended family, creating DIY home projects, organizing, landscaping, and basically anything that involves being in the beautiful outdoors.
